AI chatbot development company · India

A chatbot that answers on WhatsApp, in the language people type.

Your customers are not going to open a chat widget on your website. They are going to message your business number, at 11pm, in Hinglish. We build bots for that reality: WhatsApp first, Hindi and English second, and your own price list as the only source of answers.

  • 2 weekstypical build
  • ₹ fixedprice, in rupees
  • Your numberinside your WhatsApp Business account

WhatsApp first

The channel is the whole decision.

Most chatbot projects in India fail for a boring reason: the bot was put somewhere nobody messages. A website widget waits for a customer to be on your website, on a desktop, during a session they did not plan to have. Meanwhile forty enquiries a week land on the business WhatsApp number and sit unread until somebody opens the phone.

So we deploy on the WhatsApp Business Platform, on your own verified number, with your business name and green tick where you qualify. The customer messages the number that is already on your Google listing, your shop board and your bill — and gets an answer in seconds instead of the next morning.

The same bot then answers on your website and Instagram DMs off one shared knowledge base, so there is one thing to update when a price changes rather than three.

  • Website chat widget Your WhatsApp Business number
  • Replies next morning Replies at 11pm, in seconds
  • Formal English only Hindi, English and Hinglish
  • Answers from the open internet Answers from your price list
  • Three places to update One knowledge base
  • A bot that never lets go Handover to a human on your rules

Scope

What it answers, and where it stops

The right-hand column is the important one. A bot that claims to handle everything gets switched off in week two.

What a Ycotes chatbot answers on its own and when it hands over to a person
Question type What the bot does Hands to a human when
Price and package questions Answers from your price list Quotes it cannot find
Stock and availability Answers from your catalogue or sheet Anything needing a physical check
Opening hours, address, directions Answers instantly, any hour Never needs to
Appointment and table booking Takes the slot and confirms it Reschedules inside 2 hours
Order status Looks it up and replies with the current step Complaints about a delay
Service explanations Answers from your own documents Custom or one-off requirements
Lead qualification Asks your qualifying questions, logs the answers A lead that asks for the owner
Repeat FAQs in Hindi or English Answers in whichever language was used Abuse, disputes, refunds

Handover pushes the whole conversation to your team, so the customer never has to repeat themselves to a person after explaining it to a bot.

Where it earns its keep

Built for businesses where the phone never stops

The same bot, taught a different price list. These are the questions it spends its day on.

A cook in a kurta holding a plate in a restaurant kitchen

Restaurants & cloud kitchens

“table for 4 aaj 8 baje?”

Books the table, sends the confirmation and the location pin.

A bride having her hair and makeup done in a salon

Salons & makeup studios

“bridal trial kab free hai?”

Shows open slots, takes the booking, sends a reminder the day before.

A customer looking through traditional wear in a boutique

Showrooms & boutiques

“ye lehenga red me milega?”

Checks the catalogue and replies with photos, price and sizes.

A patient speaking to a receptionist at a clinic front desk

Clinics & coaching centres

“doctor kal kitne baje milenge?”

Answers timings and fees, books the slot, hands anything medical to staff.

Language

Hindi, English, and the Hinglish in between

A woman in a saree typing a message on her phone
She types the way she talks. The bot answers the same way.

Devanagari Hindi

क्या यह अभी उपलब्ध है?

Typed in Hindi script, answered in Hindi script. The bot matches the script the customer chose rather than replying in English and forcing them to switch.

Roman Hinglish

bhai ye kitne ka hai, delivery kab tak

The way people actually message a shop. We test against real message logs in this mixed form, because a bot tuned only on clean sentences falls over on the first one of these.

English

Do you have this in matte black?

Indian English, with the spellings and phrasing your customers use. One knowledge base serves all three — you write your prices once.

Add a Hindi AI avatar to the welcome message

How we build it

Two weeks, and you test it before a customer does.

A team gathered round a laptop in a Jaipur office, testing messages
Week two is your team's turn. They message it in Hindi, English and Hinglish and try to trip it up — before a single customer does.
  1. 01

    Your material in

Price list, catalogue, policies, opening hours, and an export of past WhatsApp conversations if you have one. That export is the single most useful thing you can send us.

  2. 02

    Rules and handover points

We agree what it answers, what it never answers, and exactly when it passes a conversation to a person. Written down, not assumed.

  3. 03

    Number and verification

Connected to your WhatsApp Business account, your display name submitted for verification, templates approved. This is the step with Meta's clock on it, not ours.

  4. 04

You break it, then it goes live

Your team tries to trip it up. We fix what they find, then it takes real customers.

Questions

Straight answers

What makes an AI chatbot development company in India different from one abroad?

Channel and language. Indian customers message a business on WhatsApp, not through a website widget, and they type Hinglish rather than formal English. A bot built for a Western web-chat widget fails on both counts on day one.

Does it really work on WhatsApp, or is that a website widget?

It runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform, on your own verified number, so the conversation happens where your customers already are. The same bot can also answer on your website and on Instagram, sharing one knowledge base.

Can it handle Hinglish, not just clean Hindi or clean English?

Yes, and this is the part most bots get wrong. People type Roman-script Hindi mixed with English words. We test against real message logs in that mixed form, and the bot replies in the same language and script the customer used.

Where do the answers come from?

From your material: your price list, catalogue, policies and past replies. It is not answering from the open internet. If a question falls outside what you have given it, it says so and hands over rather than inventing an answer.

When does a human take over?

On any rule you set, and by default on complaints, refunds, disputes and anything the bot is not confident about. Handover pushes the full conversation to your team so nobody has to ask the customer to repeat themselves.

What does it cost to run?

Two separate things. Our build is a fixed price in rupees. Running costs are WhatsApp conversation charges from Meta and model API usage, both billed to your own accounts at their price. We do not mark up or resell either.

How long does it take to build?

Two weeks is typical, from your material to a bot answering on a live number. The first week is content and rules, the second is testing against real conversations before it faces a customer.

What happens to the conversation data?

It stays in your accounts. The bot is built inside your WhatsApp Business account and your database, and you get the credentials at handover.

Send us a week of your WhatsApp messages.

We will tell you which of them a bot should be answering and which it should never touch, before you commit to anything.
