About Coding Cascade

Introduction:

  • Get ready for a coding competition where teamwork and precision are everything. In Coding Cascade, your team of three will face three interconnected coding problems. The output of one coderโ€™s solution becomes the input for the next, forming a continuous chain.
  • But bewareโ€”if one coder fails, the entire chain will collapse in a cascading failure. This challenge tests your coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and your team's coordination under pressure.
  • Can your team rise to the challenge and complete the cascade flawlessly? Step up, sync up, and prove your coding strength!

Guidelines:

  • The contest will run for 1 hour and feature 3 problems to solve one for each teammate.
  • Each team must consist of exactly three members.
  • The output of one solution becomes the input for the next. If one solution fails, subsequent solutions will become invalid.

Rules:

  • The contest will run for 1 hour and feature 3 problems to solve.
  • Each team must consist of exactly three members.
  • The output of one solution becomes the input for the next. If one solution fails, subsequent solutions will become invalid.
  • Teams will be given one point for each problem correctly solved given their previous teammate also correctly solves their respective problem, i.e., the chain does not break.
  • Any participant found engaging in cheating or unfair practices will be immediately disqualified from the contest.
  • VS Studio Editor will be provided during the contest, and participants may add extensions to it as per their convenience.
  • Participants are not allowed to use their own laptops during the contest.
  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found violating the rules or engaging in misconduct.

Judging Criteria:

  • Teams will be judged based on the number of problems they have solved and the total penalty incurred.
  • Teams that solve more problems with less penalty time will rank higher in the standings.

Team participation : 3 members comprising a team.
